The photo on this page shows me absolutely exhausted following a 10km swim from Bondi - around the point - to Watson’s Bay. I did it with no wetsuit which everyone said was very butch and tough.
So I’m giving the people what they want and I’m doing it AGAIN.
And this time I’m raising money for ACON’s First Nation’s Health Programs to help improve the health of LGBTQ+ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, including Sistergirls, Brotherboys, trans mob and mob living with HIV.

I’m at the part of preparing to swim 10km where I’m eating whatever I like and doing minimum 3.5km swims before work and an even bigger swim at the weekend. I remember this time last year as I was preparing… I’d completely made the decision hat I was going to pull out of the swim.
But not this year… I’m READY!

Wednesday 29th Nov This might seem like a ‘too early’ post but it isn’t. Preparing to swim 10kms in the middle of the ocean takes a lot of prep! By January I must be swimming 5kms uninterrupted 😬
