While many members of Australia's LGBTQ communities lead healthy and happy lives, a large proportion of LGBTQ people experience significant disparities when it comes to mental health and wellbeing when compared to the broader population such as higher levels of depression, anxiety and distress.
As NSW's leading LGBTQ health organisation, ACON works hard to provide a range of programs and services that help address many of the mental health issues that are experienced by our communities. The counselling and support services we provide all help to improve the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ people and their families.
